Here are some things to keep in mind this year to ensure you make the best move for your organization:
Look for service differentiation
As Steve Boese said in his HR Tech preview column, one great benefit of a competitive market is that having more options will drive service improvements. When the majority of tech solution features and even the user experience are matched by the competition, where is a differentiating value of a choice solution? In customer service! Pay close attention to providers’ service models if you’re shopping for new HR technology. A customer-centric approach for your HR department not only helps ensure success for your programs, but makes the partner-vendor relationship all the better.
Look for compliance consideration
Increasingly complex employment laws mean more compliance risk than ever before. In addition to service differentiation, one way technology providers can step up their tech solution offering is with greater compliance considerations. HR needs partners in compliance now more than ever, and with the competition for your business growing, this is an area in which service providers have some room to increase their value. A provider who will partner with you in navigating compliance is one who can help you focus on achieving strategic business goals.
